Components
1. Tetrads (Kernels, Seeds; the Worker Modules)
Interchangeable building blocks that are self-powered and
self-controllable but which also can operate as a group or swarm. Their utility and power
is intheir gravitational mass, their ability to combine into larger geometries, and their use
of the cabling and netting that they weave among each other.
2. Pods (Tetrad Carriers; the Mother Ship)
Containers that carry Tetrads from launch points and that contain
additional sensor, controller and actuator capabilities.
3. Cables (the Net, the Web)
Cable lines are spun by the Tetrads individually or
in network formations among two or more Tetrads, providing lines for mechanical operations
and for more advanced structural formations.
4. Binars (Software)
Agents that are assigned one or more cognitive and/or sensory and/or motor tasks
involving Tetrads, Pods and Webs.
